Learning a Language Through the Eyes of Science

Anyone can learn a language, basically any language to any level of proficiency all the way up to basically being a native speaker. The FSI has not had a problem teaching people to reach that level as long as they're willing to study. Time on task and intensity of learning are both crucial. There is no one right way to learn a language and there is noone right way to teach a language. It depends on the learner.
