Or should there be this golden rule that was art and you can't use it in court? That's where a lot of the debate hinges. Most people are decrying rap lyrics used to paint a narrative about young black men and women who have a predisposition to commit criminal offenses.
Two of the biggest rappers in the world, Young Thug and Gunna, are behind bars. And their bars will likely be used as evidence when they go to trial.
