The Red-Inked Letters
On October 5th, Donald Swanson received a third letter in red ink from the Central News Agency. It threatened that every sex worker in London would receive God's judgment through the hand of the White Chapel murderer. Charles Warren wrote saying he believed the letters were frauds but with nothing more compelling to go on, it was too little too late. Just like the black bag, the red-inked letters were Jack the Ripper now - and the powers of Tom Bulling's imagination had made them a reality.
