The Risks of Citizenship by Investment

Vanuatu recently shut down its citizenship by investment program. Other countries with whom Vanuatu had a treaty, meaning that they had visa-free access to each other's country for its citizen, said we're not okay with that. Portugal and Cyprus also seen them playing a big role in citizenship by investment or residency by investment programs. But they are part of the EU, so they don't have capacity to make their own decisions.
