Julia Child - A Cookbook Author's Story
The publishing industry and food media world have the power to choose whose work gets the Julia Child reception. When I wrote Indianish, I very intentionally put on the cover recipes and stories from a modern American family because I did not want the book to be put in like the international section. That's Priya Krishna. And guess what? They still put it in the international section in so many bookstores, even though it said American on the cover.
