The Eradication of Family Led to the Eradication of Gender
During the marriage wars i was routinely mocked for pointing out during that time period that the debate we were really having was not about the definition of marriage, but about gender altogether. If there are natural affections for men and women beyond each other, then there is no point to gender. And then there is really no requirement that a child have a father and a mother. For it is only when a man and woman come together, or what we used to call a family, that our es actually creates a new being. Even those who have decided to live outside of this paradise must find a way back into that paradise in order to access it.
