The Navi Is a Physical Embodiment of Their Value System
I think that he's left a little bit as a blank slate on purpose but it'd be nice to know what his value system is before he arrives on Pandora and meets the Navi. I'm you know Naturi is an amazing example of a crystal clear value system and therefore an arc so when she you know welcomes Jake in we know how much that costs her because human beings killed her sister right in front of her. It's kind of missing with Jake and I wonder if that's why he is not as memorable of a character for people coming out of this movie.
