Japan Peace - Natalia Makahon
Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine a year ago, Japan has welcomed just over 2,000 evacuees into the country to take shelter. Natalia Makahon is one such evacuee who left Ukraine in March of last year and has written about it for the Japan Times. Her first-person account will come out this week alongside other coverage on the anniversary of the war.
