California's Dormant Commerce Clause
Dorma commerce clause refers to the prohibition implicit in the commerce clause against states passing legislation that discriminates against or excessively burdens interstate commerce. conservatives, by and large, have very much liked the dormant commerce clause because it has been the impression that states are kind of this one way ratchet in a liberal direction. Pro life advocates have concerns that an adverse ruling in this case could set a precedent to reverse abortion laws which could be argued to cross interstate commerce territory.
