Why Is There So Much Suffering?

The existence of enormous quantities of suffering clearly is a problem for anyone who believes in an all-powerful, all-good God. So on the evidential problem, it's the quantity of evil that's really the issue. Perhaps the logical problem can be dealt with fairly easily to show that an all- powerful, all- good God would create some suffering if that suffering is the price that would have to be paid for some greater good than outweighing it. It sounds paradoxical, but it's not.
