How likely do you think it is that climate change will lead to the breakdown of industrial civilization as we know it? And i guess secondarily, how likely might it be to t effectively cause human extinction? I gess probably those numbers are going to be pretty different. It's one thing to have a kind of apocalyptic fear than another to try and think through what the mechanisms are which will actually kill people if that's what you're concerned about. What kills people? Thirst kills people. War kills people. Hunger kills people. People die because of lack of shelter. Though, it's different degrees of civilization or collapse.
