In the jewish tradition, you have elohem, you have jehovah. And they do not say away. They take the consonants out and say, you cannot pronounce god's name. But then you come to people who speak english, we say god, and then we privilege he. So our human vocabulary is utilized to connect with god, but still cannot contain god at the same time.
