The Problem of Ideology

An ideology is object ly vicious, but it furthers the interests of the thinkers class precisely on account of its viciousness. Theories are always developed with a view to practical plication. What induced marks to invent his ideology doctrine was the wish to sap the prestige of economics. Mark's only reaction to the marginal theory of value was that he postponed the publication of later volumes of his main treatise. His own economic ideas are hardly more than a garbled version of guardianism.
