As someone who studies burial grounds, cemeteries, graveyards, are they a good place to picnic? It definitely depends on the sigt. Some larger sites, like mount auburn and cambridge don't let people do that because it is such a significant historic sight. Other like whirl sites, if you're going there to visit family members. I think definitely you can have a picnic in a cemetery, as i i've done that. And when we're doing field work in graveyards,. you gang just cand eat your lunch there.
