Dr. Gillian Steelfisher: Most physicians and most patients wanted to transition back to all or almost all in-person visits. She says quality of care during a busy visit was not particularly related to preference to return to in-Person visits for physicians. "There may just be a more fundamental limitation in the appeal of telemedicine for primary care physicians," she says.
