The Impact of Communication on Antimicrobial Prescribing
The Henry Ford stewardship team changed the culture comment to say commensal flora only, no staff aureus, MRSA or pseudomonas, originosa identified. And so what they found was, is that before and after the change in reporting was that antimicrobials were de-escalated in 73% of the patients in the post-intervention group compared to only 39% in the pre-inter intervention group.
