There Can Be Stillness Without Silence

I've sometimes heard the distinction of inner silence and outer silence. And i think often people think that if you go to a place where no one's talking, then that's outer silence. But there can be this background of stillness that's present to the arising of the contents of the mind. So it's not silent when we're doing self observation, but it can be still. Yes, well, it can't be still. It is still.
