i started travelling to places where everything had fallen apart, because i wanted to understand how do you operate in that environment. I remember friends of mine being like, what are you doing? When i first went to sarievo in the early years of the war,. And to me, itu just seeme like, why would you? Of course, why wouldn't you go? It's an extraordinary, horrible thing that's happening, and it's important to understand and see it. The idea of working is my mam - she always said we were doomed when i was a teen ager walking up the stairs.
