How Much Liquidity Plays Into the Markets?

Steve Daniel: I've been short the Canadian banks on and off for years. Now, maybe a credit cycle starts in Canada finally. The problem with shorting any of the Canadian banks is that the Canadian banking system is an oligopoly. He says he's just not close enough now to what's happening in terms of credit to have any strong opinion about the Canadian banks. Jayar: What are some parts of the infrastructure that you've been spending more of your time focused on? Steve Daniel: Well, the interesting thing about the power generation situation is that while the utilities are trying to do away with energy sources, other than the banks, there aren't very many companies doing it.
