Introduction

Louise O’Neill, renowned author and journalist, joins Caggie on this episode to discuss the journey of her Saturn Return. At 27 she was back living with her parents after returning from her job in fashion journalism in New York, her relationship ended, a dwindling bank account and suffering a severe relapse of her eating disorder. It was a “rock bottom” experience in many ways but her career soon took off after writing her first book. Our Saturn Return can be a turbulent and transformative time and Louise speaks openly about how there were times she felt hopeless and lost, even when she was at one of her highest points of success professionally. Yet she holds the belief that often everything falls apart and comes together at the same time. 

Louise reflects candidly on her twenty-year battle with an eating disorder which affected every aspect of her life.
