There are studies that have shown that peppermint will decrease your perception of exertion. So if you get a little peppermint, tincture or whatever, just put it on your tongue, it can be pretty powerful. Interval training with some blood flow restriction combined with just, you know, more protracted exercise seems to be the ticket.
