Foucault mistranslated the original Latin from being like a kind of confusing nevertheless and with a butt, confusing those two words, which led him astray. For Dearda, he's doing that to everything. Nothing can lead us to the kind of knowledge that we want here. Precisely because we need dreams, this kind of universal component of our lives in order to make the point that this is something we are all confronting.
