The Biodiversity of Old Growth Forests
There's a couple of misconceptions of old growth because what we have left is kind of small. If you go to a larger old growth, like I helped do research at one in Missouri called Schnabel Woods,. This was quite a bit bigger. You get areas where you've had blowdowns and like grapevines and stuff take over. There's cerulean warbler, yellow-throated warbler, worm-eating warbler that need big patches of mature wood. They just do way, way better here.
