The Importance of Initiating Young Adult Ministry
The key to any young adult ministry program is not that the diocese hires somebody and then they organize it. In order for it to last and to be effective, there has to be continual leadership development as people go along. I mean, we really, if you're a young adult, you've got to church shop. You've got to go find out where the communities are. Go online, see what's going on. It takes a little more initiative than it does when you just coddle over the Newman Center.
