Do You Really Need to Add Cardio Training to Your Resistance Training?

If your capacity to recover from training is really diminished at the moment, you might want to take a close look at your total volume of exercise. So it's not that cardio in this context is necessarily bad. It means you're already training to a point where your recovery capacity is essentially maxed out. And so whether you wanted to ramp up your lifting or add an extra cardio, that's something that you're going to have to address really, really thoughtfully.
