Standard Accents - What's Standard?
I think there'll always be a perceived need to have a standard accent, or what is understood as being standard. Even estre english retains features of both r p and cockney which some would say is respectively pash and common. So if you say a general northern accent, ye, i couldbe ma ip obe liverpool, could be yorkshire. It'll take a bit of discourse in listening before wou finally peck the speakers wither from within the north. As long as some people get offended by the word bos or even boz, then it is naine and his preference in pregtis. I don't think any arabic speaker would see a glod
