Leonardo's Mechanical Gift for the King of France
Leonardo da Vinci was born in Italy. He drew inspiration for his dragon from lizards, bats and creepy crawlies. His portraits feel very real because he studied how the muscles move in people's faces and hands. Even though he was easily distracted, he was also a perfectionist.
