Caitlyn Simmers from Ocean South California won her first CT win in just her third event. Joao Shianca and Sammo Poopa also made it to the quarterfinals at NMass. I was shocked when the National Media reported that 51,000 people were on the beach for the Big Bad Day - which is really wild. The winners for turning up NMass are the Portuguese fans as well as our surfers.
