Why Nobody Should Pay for College When They Can Take Out a Government Loan?
If a person borrows money to pay for college and then dies, their family inherits nothing. So it's just another reason why nobody should pay for college when they can take out a government loan. The student debt bubble ends up being much bigger than anybody thinks because the government has now incentivized people who otherwise would have paid for college to borrow. And maybe the people in los angeles are just dumb enough to vote for this thing.
