Are We Controlling Our Political Preferences?

Andi: Some of these, ah, some of the stanzas we take publicly are enabled only because we are at a certain level of wealth. And for poorer people to day, you're right, they have many fewer opportunities to make choices like that. We tend to think that whatever my preferences are, whatever my values are, those are the ones that every one should have, and so i think that's a fallacy in the sense that what it fails to do is recognize that people are not just equal moral agents, but they are unique moral agents.
