Aristotle's Motive for Using the Word Monad

Aristotle used the word monad for all these different things. The motivation is to get to a unified principle, not a bunch of unharmonious principles. He sketches it out enough that he kind of gives us a picture of how all these can be related. All monads have this very fuzzy, kind of vague unconscious perception going on.
