The Future of DJing
Many DJs have adopted some really grand posturing when they do something, you know, turn a knob or whatever. I never felt that playing the guitar. It was pretty clear what you were doing. A lot of people work during the day on a computer. They don't want to see one at night when they're playing music. And so it makes it easier if they have a device that has controls that are optimized for the type of work you're trying to do as opposed to a typewriter keyboard and a trackpad.
