The Axioms of Rational Choice

The theory of rational choice was formulated by the mathematician leonard savage and codified by the psychologists reed hasty and robin dawes. It deduces how the decider oud have to make decisions in order to stay true to those requirements. The first axiom may be called commensurability. For any options a and b, the decider prefers a, or prefers b, or is indifferent between them.
