The Asymmetry Between the Democratic and Republican Parties
I think there's still hesitation to describe the Republican party in what it's actually become. It's slower, the journalism is slower than the changes in the party. And I think a lot of it is also that journalists are so used to locating politicians and parties on the left right spectrum they can't imagine other spectrums.
