I'm Not Overwhelmed by the Pace of Technological Progress
I think one of the very important public policy questions in our society is how much technological progress is happening. And I'm not absolutely negative but I'm probably slightly on the pessimistic end of the spectrum as Silicon Valley goes. There's been more challenges in everything from transportation, you know, space travel and all these things that people would have called technology in the 1950s and 60s. So we have to take very seriously this idea that perhaps there's not as much progress as there has been in the past.
