The Revolt of Felix Dias in Mexico City

Felix Dias led his men into revolt and took control of Veracruz in the second week of October 1912. He was slated for execution along with 26 other officers, but cooler heads prevailed. Despite dozens of violent eruptions and a couple of huge sustained revolts, Madero is still president. Even the Zapatistas were at this moment struggling to sustain their revolution.
