Coaching Is a Young Field, and There Are So Many New Coaches

In the creative process of somebody like pecasso, you can see that he at first began with absorbing and mimicking. He started out by learning and mastering classical styles of masters who came before him. And then from that tapestry, he created his own style that is now considered to have been totally revolutionary. If you know anything about music, you will see that this is also the case in any ative endeavor. There's no way to skip any of these three stages. You have to absorb, you have to learn by mimicking, and then you have to let it integrate.
