The Importance of Rust in Database Development
GoLang is incredibly easy to, to get going with. That is one of the biggest selling points for GoLang. You know, you can get a team involved in a code base in a matter of days, not months. And that investment is just therefore much lower than other languages. But for us, we realized the limitations early on,. once we built a good amount of functionality in today's database and we wanted to go that little bit further... We'd have to build a lot of custom code. In Rust, there were ways of adding that same functionality much, much more easily than in GoL Lang.
