I like the idea because it reminds me of the way David Lynch would talk about thoughts that they're like, find catching a thought is like catching a fish. But I've often remarked this about modern sort of right wing cultural commentary or classical liberal centrist conservative type of cultural analysis: oftentimes they have very confused contradictory ideas. It's not based on a coherent, you know, rational analysis of what beliefs actually operate consistently with one another.
