Use the Sum to Show That There's Something Missing
Sometimes you can use the sum to really show that there's something missing. Implication is it may not be enough. If you emphasize some especially with your pronunciation I got some flowers then yeah you're emphasizing the limited number of flowers that you got and you're saying ah maybe it's not enough. Another example oh have you got some time I want to ask you a question. The message here is like yes I've got time but it isn't much. It's limited. You can also use some in a rather interesting way. Let me give you an example using bananas. Here are three questions. Very good questions. Questions I'm always very happy to hear.
