I don't see this as a brave attempt to stop religious discord Sarah. It strikes me that when people like Hajmi say we have to counter the scourge of religious hatred they want to pretend like they're not one of the scurgers. If China wants to find he's responsible for religious discord and hatred including against Muslims I think it can look in the mirror. What they want is to be able to control people especially in countries that you know are more theocratic where religious law and political law are merged.
