McLaren's Battle With Hamilton on Softs

Would Piastrii have had a shot at passing Hamilton on softs? No. I think what made the battle with Hamilton and Norris interesting is that Hamilton had used softs which fired up immediately after the safety car, while Norris had new brand new hards. So that made it interesting. Big, big call from McLaren to not go for the used softs. That's a gamble. What would have been really interesting is had Norris was slightly less good and Hamilton had got ahead on his fired up softs.
