The Good and the Ugly

When abroad, it's likely that you meet others who are abroad too. So yeah, over the last 10 years, I made a lot of friends who were expats at the same time as me. And for that reason, our mindset was more aligned. We were interested in the new environment we found ourselves in. They wanted to try a thing, whatever that thing was, for the first time. And we often did it together. Now my mother reminds me that I'm truly a special boy.
