Human Resources - The Mission

A lot of people are promoted to manager because they're really good at their job, but not necessarily because they're empathetic people. To me, the word human and human resources is the mission. It's policies, it's compliance, it's benefits, it's total rewards. The why is how do we make people happy here engaged, productive, and bring in new talent who has the same experience.
