Ari Berman is the national voting rights correspondent at Mother Jones. His book, Give Us the Ballot, was published in 2015 and described as a must-read by John Lewis. This past June was 10 years since the Supreme Court's decision in Shelby County versus Holder. We'll be discussing the aftermath of both that decision and the more recent Voting Rights Act decision.
