An archetype is a primal pattern or original idea. Archetypes are the root language of consciousness. Yung says, for example, just as a picture is worth a thousand words, an archetype is worth millions of images. All mothers in existence are expressions of the mother archetypal. And all children are expresses of the child, archetype.All warriors express the warrior archetype. All wise men and women express the wise man ar wise woman archetype. The key point that i'm making here is that an archetype is something very primal, without which nothing above it can emerge.
