Don't Give Epinephrine for 20 Minutes of an Arrest

The data out of Get With The Guidelines for PD epinephrine dosing interval that was actually that I'm a co-author on, but was the lead author. What they found was improved survival to discharge on the account of almost two to three times for those who got epinephrine less frequently. That's what I do currently, if we think you can get the patient back, yes, epinephrine every three to five minutes. But it will never be willy nilly give it for 20 minutes of an arrest. You're just going to be exposing the patient to the downsides of it.
