In the late 60s, wedding dresses were mostly limited variations on themes found in department stores and small boutiques. It was Miss Heta's innovation noting the changing appetites of the times to offer as many styles as possible. During this decades long wedding craze, movies about weddings increasingly focused on the importance of the gown. In general, almost every rom-com of the era that ends with a wedding emphasizes the importance of dress.
