The Loss of Academic Spirit

Academia very quickly, no longer allows the enjoyment of the subject you went in for. It's all about a language of what I call like a language of strategy. So it's like attack and defense. We go to the conference and we have to defend something or you have to go defend your thesis. But that promise still has a, it's still extremely potent. Like it's an unspoken promise of academia, as you said. And there was a great line that you, this is from your own essay in the book, the loss of academic spirit has to be accelerated. How would you accelerate it?
