A Novel About Emperor Nero

Nero's mistress, papea, convinced him that he would never be free to evolve until his domineering mother was in the ground. Nero commands the pretorian guard to assassinate his mother agrippina but they flat out refuse. So deep was the respect for this woman that even the Pretorian guard wouldn't touch her. Unfazed, nero turns to a friend in the roman navy who hatch a plan to sabotage a ship that agrippina would be traveling on.
